ButterflyNetRender™ (BNR)
Is a Animation Network Rendering Software Manager which is comprised of 2 applications:

‘ButterflyNetRender – Controller’:
This will be installed on one machine and will be used the Control the Rendering scenes - It will communication with the BNR Clients

‘ButterflyNetRender – Client’:
This will be installed on all the machines that will be used for ‘rendering’ the animation frames. The BNR Client can have 1 or more ‘rendernodes’ - that can be assigned to a ‘CPU’ on the machine.

"I've used and tech supported Lightwave with Screamernet for around 12 years. Network rendering is a must for any animator and whilst Screamernet does an excellent job it can be a challenge for even the most computer literate to setup. Whilst the new Stealtnet in Lightwave offers much more flexibility there are still a few things to be ironed out. As a result I required a fast, easy setup solution and decided on Butterfly Net Renderer. With 20 nodes at my immediate disposal I render anything and everything to the network, even whilst other users are operating the same machines!!. Other animators on the BNR can drop their own scenes in to their client and these will be queued up automatically to render without having to get out of their chair. Price wise, in comparison to other commercial products, BNR is the best value for money bar none. I strongly recommend this software to any Lightwave user with more than 1 computer at their disposal."
